Why Bab Al Shams?

Indeed inspired by the great epic " la porte du soleil " or "Gate of the Sun" which made me encounter the world of Blogger and discovered a great way to reach out and communicate with great deal of thoughts to the world. When I hit "From Cairo, with Love" by Mohamed of Cairo who writes so eloquently I eventually decided to try it out... I mean have my own Blog and experience the joy of reaching out and talk to the world....

Bab Al Shams, as it could represent a virtual gate of Utmost Personal Freedome of Thoughts,
the same as Blogging represent...

So I decided to have my own Blog , reach out and WRITE ON...
Why do I write or Why people, including the greatest writers of all times, write is another post Subject that I may address at a later time...
for now I can only point out to the great George Orwell essay " Why Do I Write?"
