Islam on Lake Shrine

When Jane - Found in America wished her virtual Moslem friends Happy Eid, She reminded me of this beautiful spiritual temporary sanctuary near crazy Los Angeles.

Jane's sincere wishings was indeed touching. Her reaching out thought was very meaningful. Some how this reminded me of Lake Shrine Self Realization Temple and the 5 Stone monuments of the world most important religions including Islam, Christianity, Judaism, Hinduism, and Buddhism. Next to each other, the monuments represented a sort of virtual spiritual unity.

When I've visited the temple, it was pleasant to see those Monuments standing like anchors for spiritual self realization. The site was also good for human consumption, I thought. The Monuments are not taller than one (1) meter high. All 5 are of Equal Heights. I'd like to think that they are Exactly ONE meter. I do not know that. The point is that when a human look at those monuments, they lie under the human sight. As it is very strong signal that Religions are sent to earth to nourish the human spirit above all. To serve the human spirit, in a way one also realize the Mercy of Al Mighty God.

The stoned path runs around the lake and the beautiful land escape in a way that you could see where you’ve been only minutes before. And when you look at the same position from the opposite round you could see a beautiful scene of things (Water Fall, Sun Rays, Hugging Trees, etc.) you simply did not see when you were in the same place.
But one has to stop, still, and look. Splendid Indeed.

My memory of my anchor was that it appeared less tended to. I’ve wondered why?
May be I should have volunteered. Jane’s gesture was like watering the only rose that was there… It’s better now.

Head Lights ON.

When I sometimes leave the car lights on while driving during the daylight hours, I'm always amazed how the residents of Cairo suddenly become the most concerned and sweetest citizens of any grand city on the face of the earth. People really get out of their way to tell you. Your lights are on!? I always wondered why? Why they insist for telling? Is it because it does not cost them any thing? Because it makes people feel a bit better? I always wished that they act like that in the way they drive. At times the street of Cairo becomes like the jungle where the strongest survive, abuse the streets, other drivers, and the whole city. No tact what so ever. I wish that people who wants the lights off be as courteous and as concerned in every thing they do with their fellow neighbors, workers, drivers, pedestrians, customers, clients, teachers, students, traffic officers, and their fellow citizens at large.

Keep the Lights ON. It just may be this small act will keep more nice people outhere.

P.S. Try looking at cars head on, the head light could often give the personality of the car or the driver or both. Some are sad, happy, serious, evil, good, courageous, and tough and a lot of other faces almost like people
